Where to Stay
On an island with a bunch of fellow tourists for company, there isn't any possibility of a range of hotels or eating joints.

Devbagh Beach Resort |

|
|
Stay and food are part of the package at Jungle Lodge?s Devbagh Beach Resort. In keeping with its eco-friendly principle, the dwellings here are all ethnic thatch and bamboo cottages. The log-huts stand on 10-ft high stilts. The sit-out gives you a snug view of the beach. There are also six tents with a row of well-maintained public baths nearby.
The canteen staff serves you morning and afternoon tea in your rooms but lunch and dinner can be had only at Gol Ghar, a gazebo nearby. The canteen is the only concrete structure on the island. Sea food ? crab or mackerel curry ? is a special delicacy here.

That?s it for the islands, but Karwar also has some options up its streets. Both are the best stay and dining option if you want to set aside some time for Sadashivgad too, as it?s situated right on NH17 at the Karwar end of the Kali Bridge.
